Questions before you run a tool?
Here is what the current product does, what it needs, and where its limits are.
Which security tools are available now?
A passive website security scanner and a static AWS IAM policy analyzer are available. Broader cloud posture, container, infrastructure-as-code, secret scanning, compliance correlation and AI remediation are planned, not live.
Do the scanners need cloud credentials?
No. The website scanner checks public web and DNS signals. The IAM analyzer reviews policy JSON locally in memory and does not call AWS APIs.
Are scan results saved?
Website scan and IAM analysis results are not stored. Deployment history stores deployment status and resource metadata, not the cloud credentials entered for an action.
Does Docker Compose run directly on Railway and Render?
No single Compose runtime is used by this planner. AWS EC2 runs the stack with Docker Compose. Railway maps supported Compose services into separate Railway services. Render creates supported Git-backed Dockerfile services separately. Review each plan because Compose settings, networking, dependencies and volumes can differ.
Can I preview without credentials?
Yes. Choose the source and target and review the plan without target-cloud credentials. A secure prompt requests provider credentials only when you choose Deploy or Destroy. Credentials are not saved to your AutoCloudPilot account or deployment history.
What source can I deploy?
The planner accepts a Git repository or a ZIP archive for preview. AWS accepts Git source for deployment. Railway and Render deployment require a repository connected to their platform; Render's current flow expects a GitHub repository connected to the selected workspace.
Will a Vercel deployment run the cloud provisioning job?
The site and preview pages can run on Vercel, but real provisioning uses background work that requires an always-on worker host. Confirm that a long-running deployment worker is configured before launching.
Are paid AutoCloudPilot plans available?
No subscription tiers are currently offered. The security scanners are available without a paid plan. Cloud resources you deploy are billed directly by AWS, Railway or Render; check their current pricing before launch.
